Phil has more than 25 years of experience in the investment industry. Phil has advised and managed assets on behalf of a wide range of institutional and non-profit clients, including some of Canada’s largest foundations and pension plans. Prior to working at Encasa, Phil worked for a number of firms including Burgundy Asset Management, Morneau Shepell (now LifeWorks Investment Management), CIBC and Citigroup.
Phil is a board member and Treasurer of Sistema Toronto, a free after-school music and social development program for children living in underserved communities with the end goal of transformative social change.
Phil holds degrees from the University of Toronto and the University of Oxford, and is a CFA Charterholder.
